We use the words Joyful Living a lot at Hudson Community Living. They are part of our mission and something we have said from the beginning. But I think those words mean something different to me now than they did when we started. Because now I get to actually see what they look like.

And honestly, it usually isn’t the big stuff, although sometimes it is. Someone tries something new, goes somewhere they have never been, discovers something they are really good at, or does something independently for the first time. Those moments are exciting, and we absolutely celebrate them. But when I think about what happens here every day, those aren’t necessarily the things that come to mind first.
