A Shortage Exists
Across the country, families face a difficult reality: there are simply not enough housing options that allow adults with developmental disabilities to live independently while remaining connected to their communities.
Today’s adults with developmental disabilities grew up attending neighborhood schools, participating in extracurricular activities, holding jobs, volunteering, and building meaningful friendships. Yet after graduation, many encounter a shortage of housing options that support both independence and belonging.
Hudson Community Living was created to help address that gap by providing a place where adults with developmental disabilities can continue to grow, build relationships, and live fulfilling lives within the community they know and love.
